We handle sourcing, converting, sterilisation (if required), labelling and the manufacturer role under EU MDR — including the obligations of Article 16 when finished devices are packaged or relabelled.

## Regulatory classification

EU MDR — Regulation (EU) 2017/745. Textile class-I products; where sterilisation, repackaging or relabelling takes place, the manufacturer obligations of Article 16 MDR apply.

INOPREX develops, manufactures and takes on regulatory responsibility — in the role that fits your project. For medical devices we act as the legal manufacturer under EU MDR. For cosmetics and food supplements we either take on the role of the responsible person or the person placing the product on the market, or we manage development and production while your brand remains the market operator. Production runs together with leading contract manufacturers and fillers in the EU. ## Frequently asked questions

**What happens if we only relabel finished products?**

Then you become a manufacturer yourself under Article 16 EU MDR — with all obligations including an ISO 13485 QM system. INOPREX can take on exactly this role for you.

**Are sterile variants possible too?**

Yes. Sterile converting runs via qualified partners; sterilisation verification and labelling are documented.

**What MOQ applies?**

For converting from 10,000 units per SKU; textile raw material calculation is project-dependent.
