## Regulatory classification

EU MDR — Regulation (EU) 2017/745, class I to IIb depending on the working principle. Cosmetic alternatives (pure care) fall under Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 — we draw the line upfront.

For cosmetics and food supplements we either take on the role of the responsible person or the person placing the product on the market, or we manage development and production while your brand remains the market operator. Because treatment intent and working principle decide the category: corrosive or keratolytic wart removal products are medical devices, pure care creams are cosmetics, and antifungal actives would be medicinal products — which we do not cover.
